I signed up for a 1-year contract. I had my domain with bluehost and tried to move it over. After successfully pointing the domain to webhostingpad's servers and registering my site with their registrar, things started to go wrong.

After several days of pointing to the right location, the site all of the sudden pointed back to bluehost's servers and support cannot tell me why. They insist it has something to do with my network or broswer caching but this doesn't explain why it doesn't work in Los Angeles, in Tokyo, or on any of the 5 computers and two networks in my own house.

The hosting support is superior. Chat answers. Support phone answers withing a reasonable amount of time.

I would have given it a 5, but all my sites went down for about 2 hours 6/22/2007 in the morning. So I give it a 4. It is the only time in the 12 months as a customer that I saw it go down. This is better uptime than all other hosts I tried, except YAHOO. All other hosts go down at least once a month. One I tried that advertised 99.5% uptime had my site down for 3 days. I quit that one and moved to inmotion. I have 3 sites with inmotion now.

So far, so good. A large range of services at a great price.

No idea how good their technical support is, as I have never needed to use it!

Very impressive, just hope they can maintain this quality of service in the future.

We have used FatCow for six years with very good experience. Last year, they added Outlook Exchange to their offering. This has been a nightmare with at least one lost day every month. So if you need anything besides basic hosting, stay away.

I have about 12 websites (all php/mysql based) with Bluehost, and never, ever had a problem. Their customer service is very friendly and responds within minutes almost, and whatever needs you have (cron, ssl, you name it), it's there.

Highly recommended!

They have real good uptimes. I can guarantee that they will have a very good uptime.

However, their support is six feet under. Only one FTP account works and half the time, I can't even connect to the server with FTP... They are okay in terms of loading times.

Short, they are okay as long as you only need one ftp account, pretty good uptimes and almost 100% uptime.

I've been using Lunarpages for over 5 years. I've only had minor issues with them. Although they are a tad bit more expensive for their VPS and Dedicated servers, they are sure worth it. I recommend them to anyone.

I\'m currently in the process of moving to another host.

The reason I signed up for Site5 hosting was great price for all the features my sites required.
I, however, will not continue to use their services because I want to try my luck elswhere and see if I can get less downtimes, less MySQL breakdowns and more savvy tech support.

The other my MySQL database got corrupted for no apparent reason, and I asked the support for help. Their \"help\" consisted in clicking the \"repair\" option (which I already tried, and didn\'t work) and offering a month old back-up which would wipe out the very database I was trying to fix. In the end I fixed it myself because luckily I know a thing or two about \"teh internets\", but most users need and deserve a better tech support.

My experience using IXWEBHOSTING has been like dream come true. Too many hosting companies these days are quick to take your money without producing the goods. The quality of the hosting and services provided are just top notch and their support is just outstanding, even for someone located in Australia. I have had a dozen or more support calls iwith them, some with complex issues and they were all resolved within 15mins of logging the ticket. I have been so blown away with the level of service and support that I just had to right this review.
